Vocational Education and Training (VET) provides students with practical skills that will allow them to upgrade their skills in a chosen field or improve their job opportunities. There are a variety of courses that can be completed including commerce, tourism or hospitality, among many others.
English language
English for Vocational Studies (EVS) is suitable for students who have an intermediate level in English and wish to engage in practical professional training with an intensive academic English program. EVS courses range in duration from around 4 to 48 weeks.
Certificate I to IV
These courses provide introductory skills and training, teaching students industry-specific expertise in areas such as communication, literacy, numeracy, and teamwork. The study period ranges between 6 months and 2 years.
Diploma
Diploma courses prepare students for business, corporation, and paraprofessional careers. These typically require 1 to 2 years of full-time study.
Advanced Diploma
Advanced diploma courses provide students with a high level of occupational skills for advanced or paraprofessional work in areas such as accounting, engineering, and construction. Some of these courses can be studied at a university level. It usually requires 1.5 to 2 years of full-time study.
